Prayer initiated for the second anniversary of horrific attack on Londoners by Islamic Terrorist's Bombs on 7th July 2005

The July 7, 2005 Islamic terrorists bombed buses and tubes in London

Address the spirit of lawlessness (hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority amplified bible)  which seems to be the root iniquity of homicide, suicide, violence, covetousness, using illegitimate power and authority through Islamic terrorism to intimidate, manipulate and  so control.

Basic Scriptures relating to lawlessness Old Testament   

• Prov.11:30 fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, lawlessness takes away life

• Hab.2:8  have filled the countryside with lawlessness and all the cities too

New Testament

• Matt.7:23   Depart from Me , you who act lawlessly

• Matt.13:41   offend, practice lawlessness

• Matt.23:28   inside full of hypocrisy and lawlessness

• Matt.24:12   where lawlessness abounds, love of mercy grows cold Rom.6:19   slaves of uncleanness and lawlessness leading to more lawlessness

• 2 Cor.6:14   what has righteousness to do with lawlessness?

• Eph.5:6    have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness (ie lawlessness)  expose them 

• 2 Thess.2:3   the son (man) of lawlessness is revealed, the son (man) of destruction

• Verse 4   opposes and exalts himself above all called God  Verse 7   mystery (secret power) of lawlessness (hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority Amp) already at work in the world (in London)

• Verse 8   then the lawless one will be revealed and the Lord will slay him…

• Titus 2:14   give Himself for us that He might ransom us from all lawlessness, purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works 2 Pet 2:3    by covetousness (lawlessness) they will exploit with deceptive words

• Heb.1:9   You have loved righteousness --  integrity, uprightness, and you have hated lawlessness – injustice, iniquity.

• 1 Jn.3:4   Everyone who practices sin is guilty of lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness (being unrestrained and unregulated by God’s commands and His will)

SUGGESTED  PRAYER  PLAN

For small groups at tube and bus bomb sites in Central London

Come into God’s Presence in unity ----- read Jn.17:13-21

A few minutes to worship together as seems right at the site

1.  Recognizing and removing curses that have been activated on the land so we can deliver and cleanse it. These curses have  empowered the lawlessness

A.  Curses bought by those previously living on the land - read Is.28:14-15

Covenants have been bought/entered into as an overt, conscious agreement with the enemy i.e. rebellion against God’s Word, deliberately breaking God’s laws, lawlessness   This makes a lie our refuge, makes an agreement with death and the grave.  The people making these covenants must sacrifice something in order to receive the demonic power they want.  Usually  they sacrifice the lives and well being of their future generations.   Therefore the outworking of the agreement with death, the grave, lawlessness, is visited on later generations, in this case, our generation.  These curses are legal and binding . A part of these covenants involves the activation of demonic protection of the covenants, those who made them and the generational outworking of the curses involved.   This protection must be removed in order to see the covenants broken.

B.  Curses from God   

• read Deut.30;19-20  choice of life and death, blessing and curse;

• read Deut.28:15-68    curses the Lord had declared for disobedience These covenants are a commercial and legal exchange with demons.  Our disobedience in this gives a legal right for God’s curses to come into force as a result of His declared Word to us.  

Breaking the Covenants, removing the curses and demonic protection of them Read Is.28:16-18 

i)  Acknowledge the rebellion, sin and iniquity motivating those who entered into these covenants and allowed these curses.  That all curses, their legal control of us and their consequences are just and righteous before our Father God in His Court because of our antecedents’ rebellion, their children’s and our continued iniquity and the curses God’s Word invokes.  

i)  On the basis of Jesus’ death for us, ask the Lord’s forgiveness for our iniquity and rebellion and the grief it has brought to Him.

iii)  THEN  Declare our rights as children of God to claim the legal power of our Father God’s Covenants with us, through the highest authority ….

The Cross of Jesus Christ and all His benefits won for us.

iv) Declare removal of the demonic protection 

v)  Renounce all demonic covenants and annul them by the Blood of Jesus

vi)  Renounce and reject all demonic fruit of these covenants and curses with the land, people and institutions on it.  Remove the power of any demons to hide or remain.   

Then we are free to:

2.  Cleanse the land of defilement of bombs exploding

•      Declare the breaking of the curse of lawlessness by applying the Cross, the Blood of Jesus. Pour wine on the ground to cleanse the land from the blood of those killed and injured.  

•      By the shedding of Jesus’ Blood we ask  forgiveness from our Father for this lawlessness as our i.e. Body of Christ’s and the civil authorities’ disobedience to His covenants and laws have given room for this curse to alight  Read Jer.22:8-9   any church leaders/ clergy and police present can do this 

•      release forgiveness to those who perpetrated the homicide and suicide.  

•      Cleanse the land of spirit of death so it cannot call forth more death and violence. 

•      Sprinkle salt on the ground to symbolize God’s  cleansing and healing from the demonic blood sacrifice of those wounded and killed, through Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the Cross. 

•      Separate out and dispatch all demons who have a job function to activate the spirit of violence/death. They no longer have a legal right to be there.

• Read Jer.22:3 - Sanctify the land/make it holy grounds

• Anoint the land for sanctification with anointing oil symbolizing the work of the Holy Spirit. 

Re-dedication of the Land:

• Declare God’s authority and dominion re-established in and on the land

• Declare that it is set apart again for the purposes of God, it is now a “habitation of justice and right” Jer.31:23

• Call back the Life and Light God first placed in it.

3. Cleansing the time period when the bombs exploded i.e. between 8.50am and 10.00am on 07.07.2005 

• Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever Heb.6:8   Ask Holy Spirit to go back to that time.

• Break all curses of death, grief and violence from bombs that Satan has attached to that time, their ability to call forth more curses.

• Declare that any terrorist plans currently in operation will be clearly and quickly exposed 

• Cleanse and deliver that time from the spirit of lawlessness esp death through violence 

• Follow the declaration steps for land where applicable to time  and sanctify that time.

• Use same steps as land where applicable to time. Replace curses with God’s blessing

4. Declare that the time and land is now free from the enemy’s power and plan and has become transformed into a place of God’s holy habitation, impregnated with  and spreading  God’s Life, righteousness, truth, blessing, love etc.

Bless London - In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we choose to bless you London.  We declare that, whatever has happened since, God Almighty was here first creating you according to His sovereign plans and purposes.  We bless the identity that God has given you as a city known by and affecting the whole world.   Our Father chose to bring you into existence as  a unique expression of His creativity and manifold wisdom.  We bless the redemptive purpose He has for you that which has already been revealed and especially that which has yet to be revealed.   We call that forth now in Jesus’ Name.  We bless all those people You have called to partner with You in the revelation of Your love for London and its end-time redemptive purpose.

Blessings

We bless you London with fulfilling the purposes of God for you, that you will live out His perfect will for you.  We bless you with being a place where the will of God for you is done on earth as it is in Heaven, so revealing the grace, the wisdom, the presence and the glory of God to all who live and work here, to all who visit and to the angelic rulers and authorities in the heavenlies.  We bless your night hours London and your daytime with the presence of God that they may be filled with joy.  We bless you with a spirit of praise, gratitude and worship only for Almighty God your Creator.   (adapted from Sylvia Gunter and Arthur Burk ‘Blessing your Spirit’)

5. Pray for people who were maimed, families, businesses that were affected by the explosions including families of bombers

6. Pray for each other

7. Continued protection and deliverance from evil

8. Continued blessing of God in every area of life

9. Possible prayer to finish from Living Bible  Hab.3:2

“O Lord, now I have heard your report and I worship you  in awe for the fearful thing You are going to do.  In  this time of our deep need, begin again to help us as you did in times gone by.  Show us Your power to save us.   In your wrath remember mercy. I see God moving across the heavens from Mt. Sinai. His brilliant splendor fills the earth and sky; His glory fills the heavens, and earth is full of His praise.  What a wonderful God He is!"

4 and 5 above could be done by the covering team for everyone, to expedite prayer at the sites. Great to have the teams meet at some time before the day so we all know each other, and can come tog in heart unity of repentance and forgiveness before our Father.We want our hearts to be in purity so we have maximum authority in intercession.

Great if as many as possible can meet up afterwards at the intercession base to all thank the Lord together and seal the prayer.  Rev’d Jeremy Crossley has generously allowed the team leaders to meet afterwards at St.Margaret Lothbury to thank and praise God, and to seal in this time of intercession.  If the enemy cannot stop this, he will do all he can to steal it afterwards.
